Frequently Asked Questions

How do your popping corks glow so brightly and last for so long?

It’s a secret. But…y’all are welcome!

How do your products get their names?

Names are not our strong suit. First, we created a glowing popping cork, so we called it a GloPop®. Next we designed a reflective popping cork, and the name R-Pop made sense. You get the idea...

Why do you use mono leaders instead of wire leaders?

Extensive product testing by our team found that certain fish species can destroy wire leaders. We proudly partner with Ande Mono to build popping corks that are incredibly strong, durable and highly flexible.

I took my R-Pop to a lighted pier, dock, bridge etc., and it didn’t reflect very well. Is my product defective?

No. The angle and overall brightness of overhead lighting can sometimes cause this issue. Simply pair your R-Pop with a headlamp or flashlight if this occurs. You can then control its reflectivity out to incredible distances, without having to shine light directly on the R-Pop.

Won’t fish be spooked off by the bright glow or reflectivity of your popping corks?

No. Our team found that the bright glow and reflectivity of our corks did not spook fish, even in complete darkness. If anything, it attracts them. However, avoid over popping or casting directly on top of fish, especially in shallow water.

What shipping carriers do you use?

FedEx and the United States Postal Service. We offer discounted shipping on bulk orders depending on the overall weight and destination.

What is your refund policy?

We will refund or replace any unused or defective GloPop® product that is returned within 30 days of the date of purchase. Please contact us at customerservice@glopopfishing.com  for further assistance.

Are your fishing floats patented?

Yes. Our floats use three patent pending systems that are currently filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
